The DC Chamber of Commerce in its latest report “State of the Business Report” highlights how the growth of the District has not benefitted everyone. Some key points include how area homeownership is especially low for communities of color, how affluent families are displacing lower and middle income families, and how concentrated poverty is dividing the city into haves and have-nots.
